Steve Coughlin joined the CHARLESGATE team in November, 2024. Steve has over five years of real estate sales experience. Prior to his real estate career, Steve had many years of commercial banking experience as an IT executive at State Street in Boston, and Wells Fargo in San Francisco.

Steve has lived in Boston and Somerville for 15 years, and enjoys the diverse food, fun and culture our unique neighborhoods have to offer. Steve was born and grew up by the shore in Rhode Island. He currently lives in the Union Square neighborhood of Somerville with his German Shepherd Simon.

Steve has a deep commitment to his community; this year he is President-elect of Somerville Kiwanis, an organization providing college scholarships and assistance to children and youth in Somerville. Steve is a past board member of the food assistance
organization Community Cooks, as well as volunteering at Community Servings and Literacy Volunteers in Boston.
