Revere is One of the Most Desirable Places to Live in Massachusetts

Written by Admin | Jan 1, 1970 5:00:00 AM

Located just five miles north of Boston, Revere, MA, is a historic town named after the famous patriot Paul Revere. It is a vibrant community of just over 54,000 that leaves behind the feel of the big city for a more laid-back way of life. This may be because Revere Beach was the first public beach in the United States. Its scenic views, great family activities, and wonderful nightlife have been a little-known secret for decades. But the secret is out, and as Paul Revere would say, the buyers are coming.

Where is Revere?

Revere is located just northeast of Boston and can usually be reached in just a few minutes. There are multiple paths in and out of the city. This makes it a popular suburb because you can be anywhere in Boston in thirty minutes or less on a good day. Its small population size gives it small-town vibes for a city that is closely located to one of the US's most recognized cities. With three miles of coastline, it is also perfectly located for anyone who loves boating, fishing, and other water sports.

Things to Do

The place has close proximity to Boston. One may think that Revere doesn't have a lot to offer, but that is not true. People choose to live in Revere because they don't want to be in Boston all the time. Revere has plenty to do for singles and families both day and night.

Culture

Revere History Museum

Get to know the history of the town by popping into the quaint Revere History Museum. The museum holds three floors of pictures, artifacts, and other items of historical influence from Revere and the surrounding area.

Hit the Beach

A big portion of Revere's identity is their beautiful beach as it should be. Tourists and locals alike flock to the beach not just for fun and sun but also for the popular area's atmosphere.  There are annual events, shops, restaurants, and more that may be exciting for tourists. But people who live in Revere get to experience it all the time.

Enjoy the Great Outdoors

The beach is great, but Revere has tons of outdoor spaces to explore. Massachusetts is one of the best states in the union to experience all four seasons outdoors.

Food

For a town of its size, Revere has an eclectic food scene. You will find everything in this town. From your traditional New England fare like crab and clam chowder to international foods from all over the world. You could hop from restaurant to restaurant along the beach or head into the city to explore even more options. A few gems include:

Antonia's at the Beach

Antonia's is an upscale restaurant that is perfect for large gatherings or drinks after work. They have plenty of room and, as the name suggests, it is right on Revere Beach. The prices are on par for an upscale restaurant, but the food is worth it.

Dryft

Dryft is another upscale restaurant right on the beach that has something for everyone on its menu. Although it offers a high-end atmosphere, Dryft's menu isn't cost-prohibitive, making it the perfect place to celebrate special occasions or meet friends.

Renzo

If you are looking for something a little more relaxed, Renzo has you covered with fantastic brick oven pizzas and other Italian and American-inspired entrees and appetizers. While things have changed due to the pandemic, Renzo offered regular live music, which will hopefully be returning, making for a fun experience for the whole family.

Entertainment

There is plenty to do culturally and year-round events, but sometimes families are looking for something to do on a Friday night. These Revere mainstays promise to be there for you.

Showcase Cinema

The theater experience has definitely changed over the years. But Showcase Cinema has managed to keep up by creating an ambiance that makes theater going worth it.

Cronin Skating Rink

This community skate rink hosts various skating programs. It also has public skating times for the family to enjoy some recreation.

Sonny Myers Park

If you are looking for a place to kill some time and not have to spend money, Sonny Meyers Park has you covered. It boasts a large playground that kids love and plenty of space to run around. Parents will love the plentiful seating and wonderful views.

Why Rent in Revere

There are many great reasons to rent in Revere, starting with the beautiful options that you have. It is perfectly located in a town that moves a little slower but not too far away from the excitement that Boston holds. Renting is a great option for transplants who want to live in the Boston area but are not entirely sure where they want to lay roots. Apartment renting also gives you all the feeling of home but without all the costly and stressful upkeep that comes with owning a home.

The biggest reason for renting in Revere is the competitive real estate market. The secret is slowly leaking that Revere is the place to be which is driving up the prices of real estate, making it more difficult to find a nice home at an affordable price. Our apartments feel like home, but don't come with all the stress, hassle, and time that it takes to buy a home.
