The World’s First Layer-lapse Video Featuring Boston

The World’s First Layer-lapse Video Featuring Boston

Wow! Just released was this AMAZING video showcasing different times of days throughout Boston by Photographer Julian Tryba. This highlights the beauty of the city from a variety of perspectives including the skyline, Boston Common, and many more. Take a look and see how your favorite Boston scenes look throughout the day.

With a combination og over 150,000 photos and more than 350 hours of editing, this was quite an impressive feat. As Julian says, “Traditional time-lapses are constrained by the idea that there is a single universal clock. In the spirit of Einstein’s relativity theory, layer-lapses assign distinct clocks to any number of objects or regions in a scene. Each of these clocks may start at any point in time, and tick at any rate. The result is a visual time dilation effect known as layer-lapse.”
