A: The answer to this question is a bit tricky as it varies transaction to transaction and there isn’t an exact formula to come up with a number. A word of advice I give, is to have your agent send over the comps for comparable properties that have sold within the last 3-6 months. This is also where having an agent come into play as they should be the expert on the market and be able to guide you to come up with a competitive offer.
