A special welcome to the newest member of the Charlesgate Realty family, Matt O’Leary. Growing up just West of Boston in the town of Framingham, Matthew had previously worked as a land surveyor for a civil engineer company that worked dominantly just west of Boston where he gained a knowledge of the area. Matthew later went on to start his own landscaping and snow removal company gaining an even greater familiarity with the area from Framingham to Boston before he put it on hold to pursue a career in real estate. When he is not working, you can find Matthew at the TD Garden watching his beloved Bruins as well as playing hockey himself which he formerly played competitively.

What made you want to go into real estate?

1. I decided to pursue a career in real estate because of the passion I have for helping people as well as being in and around properties all over the Boston area so real estate seemed to be the perfect median.

What brought you to Charlesgate?

2. What brought me to Charlesgate was not only the friendly environment but the fact that they are a great company that has made a great name for themselves in Boston in a short period time and are continuing this trend everyday.

What are you most excited about in your real estate career?

3. I am most excited about getting people into apartments they love and learning the ins and outs of the beautiful city of Boston.

What did you do before real estate?

4. Before entering real estate I owned and operated a landscape and hardscape company as well as snow removal in the winter that taught me a tremendous work ethic I use everyday at work.

What do you do outside of work?

5. Outside of work I love to play and watch hockey as well as go on long rides on my motorcycle with my friends.

What do you like most about Boston?

6. The thing I like about most about Boston besides the Bruins is just the incredible amount of history and character this city has.
