Recently, a group of Charlesgate agents were invited to take a sneak peak at six luxury homes that just hit the market near Boston Common in Boston’s Downtown Crossing neighborhood. The homes, comprised of six buildings, are only steps away from Boston Common and HUGE spaces for the area.) Each floor plan has unique aspects that give it an individual appeal. Here is a bit more about the two that were pretty finished and we were able to get through.
The penthouse unit, where the event took place, offers 3,357 square feet of single floor living. With direct elevator access, the unit opens into a foyer area and then a tremendous living space and Chef’s kitchen. Cabinetry is made from custom rosewood with a white center island. (As you can see in the pics). There is a TON of storage in the space – especially for a Boston condo and high end appliances including a Subzero refrigerator, Wolf range, and wine refrigerator. The bedroom spaces are large with ensuite bathrooms filled with Jacuzzi tubs and heated floors.
Other nice features of this home are a common roofdeck with caterer’s kitchen and bathroom, private storage area, USB outlets, and large laundry area with Electroluxe washer and dryer.

On a slightly smaller scale but just as fabulous is the other home we toured, which is 2,243 square feet. The home also features elevator access on the second floor. The floor plan is sprawling with individual areas that can be customized to the space that you need. The luxury finishes of the home mimic the Penthouse with some historic elements that were preserved such as beamed ceilings which give it a unique feel.

Take a look at a few pics that we snapped at the event. Feel free to reach out as we will have more pictures for you once the units are more complete!
One unit is already under agreement ~ just more proof that the Boston market is HOT!
