Boston Globe Peeks Into Ernie Boch, Jr.’s Home
We have heard stories about Ernie Boch, Jr.’s home over the years – a sprawling estate in Norwood, MA. The mansion is over 16,000 square feet with over 6 acres of grounds (many coming from the purchase of surrounding homes and tearing them down to expand his estate. The home was recently featured in the Wall Street Journal with some highlights and pictures of the gorgeous property.
You have probably heard the name Boch if you live in Boston, or even New England. His group runs 7 automobile dealerships and is also the distributor for Subaru throughout New England. His estimated family worth is over $1 Billion. (That is a lot of cars!)
The interior of the home, which you can check out HERE, is decorated after some of the “nicer hotels” he frequents like the St. Regis and Ritz-Carlton. ‘Ernie wanted it to feel like a club,’ says his decorator Anthony Catalfano. A fan of rock and roll, he has a 3,000 square foot carriage house that houses many of his treasures.
