Anything you tell your buyer’s agent that would effect how a seller looks at you or your offer is confidential. Your buyers agent owes you loyalty.
You pay for it and you own it. A home inspector will not verbally share anything without your permission.
I always ask a buyer to share the inspection with me and will ask for permission to pass along any pages with issues. I send over a list of requests but believe the pictures and inspector’s report helps avoid any confusion. It’s my job to ensure that the proper repairs are made as agreed upon by both parties.
Your lender is required to give you an estimate of closing costs. Often these estimated costs are higher than the actual costs. Please review with your lender or attorney when received.
You pay for this as well and are entitled to a copy. FYI an appraisal almost always comes in at or just slightly above the accepted offer price. The bank wants to justify their investment in you.
The closing attorney will provide you with a copy of all the papers you sign at the closing. They will also offer to send you a hard copy of the recorded documents or an electronic copy.
