Find It First … How Competitive Has the Market Become in Boston?
This past week, a humorous campaign came out from the Realtor association highlighting how competitive the real estate market is across the US. You don’t have to look any further than the Boston market to see evidence of this – as one of the strongest in the country currently. As of the newest March stats, the amount of inventory is down 47.6% from last year across Boston. Wow – that means there are a little more than half of the homes on the market from only a year ago. And we don’t see this statistic changing any time soon.

By neighborhood:
- Back Bay saw 49.8% less inventory..
- Dorchester had 54.3% less…
- and East Boston had 62.5% less inventory than in 2012!
