Unfortunately for me, I have seen people (who are not my clients) do it over and over again. Even in what is basically a seller’s market here in Boston, people push too hard and list their home at a price that is much too high. It honestly, makes me want to pull my hair out.
You’d think in a busy market there is some pricing power for sellers, and that’s true…to a point. Pricing is an art, people, and nothing to fish around with. If you do, only one thing will happen: they won’t take your bait and will swim away- far far away. Pricing for maximum value is the key.
