Boston Underground Film Festival

Posted by Hillary Waldron on Sun, Mar 16, 2014

Brattle TheatreThe Boston Underground Film Festival will be held at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge from Sunday, March 16th to Tuesday, March 18th.

"The Boston Underground Film Festival was birthed from the filthy brain of founder David Kleiler way back in 1998. All wet and slippery straight from the mind-womb, the festival began life as an all-night film marathon run by Kleiler and longtime festival pal Dima Ballin. This informal event quickly grew into the first annual Boston Underground Film Festival held at the Revolving Museum in South Boston. Programmer Bernard Broginart described this first annual gathering as 'a wonderful hoax of a film festival.' We'd like to think that things have come a long way since then."

This years festival includes 'Yacht Rock', 'Doomsdays', and 'Sound + Vision'. For more information on the Boston Underground Film Festival and ticket availability, please go to BostonUnderground.com
