The ArtBeat in Somerville is a free event that "encourages artists, musicians, and more to express themselves all under a central theme." The theme for this year will be 'Hatched'.

The ArtBeat Festival will be held in Davis Square on Friday, July 18th and Saturday, July 19th. 

"ArtBeat is one of the area's largest and most innovative arts festivals, with over a dozen bands, dance troupes, 75 craft vendors, food and hatch-themed activities."

Grab your viking hat and get ready for the 9th Annual Boston Beer Marathon!

The event will be held on Saturday, July 26th in the Kenmore Square & Allston/Brighton area. Over 20 bars will be participating this year, including Game On!, Jillians & White Horse. 

"Some people run 26 miles, others drink at 26 bars. For those of us who hate to run but still want to say we did a marathon I give you: The Beer Marathon. Travel the city while wearing a complementary Viking helmet to let everyone know you are a true warrior.

Many of the bars will have specials on food and drink for those involved in the marathon, meaning you won't need to save up too much to have a good time."

The 12th Annual Taste of Cambridge will be held on Tuesday, July 15th from 5:30pm-8:30pm. The event will be held at the University Park Common in Cambridge.  

The event will feature 100 of "Boston's Best" restaurants in Cambridge including The Blue Room, Puritan & Company and Park!

"Each year foodies descend upon the Taste of Cambridge to sample the delicious, creative, healthy and award-winning cuisine that comprises our city - one of the most widely recognized restaurant destinations in the area. The Taste of Cambridge transforms University Park Common and Sidney Street into a lush haven for gastronomical and gustatory indulgences of the highest order!"

Proceeds from ticket sales will provide support to local Cambridge non-profits.

Mitsubishi Electric will be sponsoring the 9th Annual Futures at Fenway Park on Sunday, July 13th. 

"The event is a celebration of America’s favorite pastime giving fans a chance to get a firsthand glimpse at some of the Red Sox’ most promising prospects. This year, the Single-A affiliate Lowell Spinners will take on the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. The minor league game is presented by Minuteman Health."

This year, the event will include "Bark at the Park", a post game screening of "Field of Dreams" and family friendly ticket admission and concession prices.

The WGBH Fun Fest in Brighton will be held on Saturday, July 12, from 10am to 4pm at WGBH Studios in Boston.

By attending, you’ll be able to sample 90+ Farmhouse Ales and summer beers from 25 of New England’s best craft brewers! Come and join Boston Harbor Hotels for a night during their 16th Annual Summer in the City Entertainment series going on now near the Seaport District!

Boston Harbor Hotels is "offering over 50 nights of concerts and movies on the harbor. Bostonians and visitors alike can enjoy this quintessential summer experience on Rowes Wharf Sea Grille's harborside terraces.  As the sun sets the harbor comes alive with different bands performing Tuesday - Thursday from the hotel's floating barge stage, and movies on Friday."

The French Cultural Center's 39th Bastille Day Party is almost here! The event returns to Marlborough St. in Back Bay on Friday, July 11th and will be held from 6:00pm-11:00pm.
