#3: Stargaze, right from downtown Boston

Posted by 365 Things Boston on Wed, Apr 28, 2010

It's hard to believe you can get an amazing look at the night sky from the heart of the city, but that's exactly what you can get tonight at Boston University's Coit Observatory (725 Commonwealth Ave).

Each Wednesday, BU holds "Public Open Night at the Observatory", from 8:30pm in the Spring and Summer.  Observe the night sky through telescopes and binoculars, all the while learning a little astronomy!

Looks like it'll be a decent night tonight, but pay attention to the weather. If there are clouds or rain...just in general bad weather Open Night will be canceled.  You can always give them a ring to find out if for sure at 617.353.2630 (call about two hours ahead).

Happy star hunting!
