The Fort Point Stage will host a free outdoor screening of Good Will Hunting in honor of the late Robin Williams.
"The volunteer-based performing arts organization will be showing the 1997 classic in the park at Channel Center at 8 p.m. on Aug. 22. The event is a part of the Fort Point’s impromptu outdoor movie night series.
'The screening is an opportunity for neighbors and visitors to come together, to reflect on the work of Robin Williams that so many of us found inspiring,' Steve Hollinger, creative director at Fort Point stage, said in an e-mail. 'The fact that ‘Good Will Hunting’ was filmed here in South Boston has meaning as well.'"
