City Heart's Annual Art Show ill be held at the Prudential Center in Back Bay on Saturday, May 3rd from 11am-4pm.
"City Heart is an annual art show and sale in Boston, MA featuring local homeless and low-income artists. City Heart began in the spring of 2011 and is now in its third year. The show was founded because there was a wealth of wonderful art created by local homeless and low-income individuals but a lack of opportunity to share it with the community.
In 2011 and 2012, City Heart exhibited over 200 pieces of work from 40 artists. City Heart continues to grow. In 2013 the show will have 70 artists with over 1,000 pieces of beautiful artwork."
Artwork includes paintings, drawings and jewelery.
